Obed founded the Nashville Rhythm in 2016 with the goal of positively impacting the soccer community in the greater Nashville area.
Former professional goalkeeper for the Tennessee Rhythm in 2000, Obed has be actively involved in the game, through playing and coaching, for over 20 years.
Obed has coached for the Harpeth Futbol Club, Stones River Futbol Club, Cobra Soccer Club and the Nashville Metros FC.
Obed currently serves as assistant head coach at Father Ryan High School where the Rhythm play their home matches.

Dustin began working in soccer in the Nashville area in 2015 with Nashville FC - a member of the NPSL.
He later went on to temporarily work with Nashville SC, as well as the USMNT and CONCACAF.
He has three international caps to his name and is cup-tied with the Nicaragua national team.
Michael graduated from MTSU's video and film production program in 2016. That summer, he worked for Nashville FC's video crew before becoming a tour lighting technician.
Today, Michael still works as a lightning technician and runs his own photography business along with his work on the Rhythm staff.
2021 COACHING STAFF
Scott Davidson returns for his fourth season as head coach of the Rhythm.
Davidson brings in nearly a decade of coaching experience at the collegiate and youth levels throughout the southeast.
The Newarthill, Scotland, native played collegiately at Bryan College, scoring 23 goals with six assists as a senior to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors.
Davidson played professionally with the Sioux Falls [SD] Spitfires (2007) and Spokane [WA] Spiders (2008) as well as two years with the Nashville Metros (2009-10). He also spent time with Albion Rovers FC Youth (1998-99), Hamilton Academicals FC (2000-02) and Lanark United (2003) in his native Scotland before enrolling at Bryan.
He received his bachelor’s in Communications from Bryan College in 2008 and earned a master’s in Teaching K-6 from Trevecca in 2013. He has earned USSF National “D” and “E” coaching licenses as well as Goalkeeping Levels I and II from United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA). He has also received a Director of Coaching Diploma and Advanced National Diploma from the USC.
2021 will be Jack's first true season with the Rhythm. He joined the Rhythm coaching staff ahead of the 2020 season, however, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 WPSL season was cancelled.
Jack currently serves as assistant coach with Upper Iowa University.
He has been pursuing his coaching career across the country for the last few years with youth organization, Global Premier Soccer.
Jack served as captain in his senior year at University of the Cumberlands, making the Mid-South All-Conference team twice. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2017.
Since graduating, Jack played with Erie Commodores in the National Premier Soccer League. He is also pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration.
