Owner/General Manager
Obed founded the Nashville Rhythm in 2016 with the goal of positively impacting the soccer community in the greater Nashville area.
Former professional goalkeeper for the Tennessee Rhythm in 2000, Obed has be actively involved in the game, through playing and coaching, for over 20 years.
Obed has coached for the Harpeth Futbol Club, Stones River Futbol Club, Cobra Soccer Club and the Nashville Metros FC.
Obed currently serves as assistant head coach at Father Ryan High School where the Rhythm play their home matches.
dustin wilmarth
Digital Media Manager
Dustin has been with the team since 2019. He began working in soccer in the Nashville area in 2015 with Nashville FC - a member of the NPSL.
He later went on to temporarily work with Nashville SC, as well as the USMNT and CONCACAF.
He has three international caps to his name and is cup-tied with the Nicaragua national team.
Ella Shamburger
Marketing Director
Ella is a recent graduate from Vanderbilt University. She played 5 years with the Vanderbilt Women's Soccer Team while earning her Bachelor's Degree in 2022 and her Masters of Marketing in 2023.
She was a 3-year captain of the Commodores and was believed to be most experienced player in program history, totaling 8,839 minutes on the pitch with 97 starts and 97 appearances. After her college career, Ella was drafted 38th overall in the 2023 NWSL draft to the Kansas City Current. She ended up signing with Racing Louisville.
Ella played for the Rhythm in 2022 when the team made it to the WPSL semifinals in Oklahoma.
2021 COACHING STAFF
scott davidson
Head Coach
Scott Davidson returns for his fourth season as head coach of the Rhythm.
Davidson brings in nearly a decade of coaching experience at the collegiate and youth levels throughout the southeast.
The Newarthill, Scotland, native played collegiately at Bryan College, scoring 23 goals with six assists as a senior to earn Honorable Mention All-America honors.
Davidson played professionally with the Sioux Falls [SD] Spitfires (2007) and Spokane [WA] Spiders (2008) as well as two years with the Nashville Metros (2009-10). He also spent time with Albion Rovers FC Youth (1998-99), Hamilton Academicals FC (2000-02) and Lanark United (2003) in his native Scotland before enrolling at Bryan.
He received his bachelor’s in Communications from Bryan College in 2008 and earned a master’s in Teaching K-6 from Trevecca in 2013. He has earned USSF National “D” and “E” coaching licenses as well as Goalkeeping Levels I and II from United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA). He has also received a Director of Coaching Diploma and Advanced National Diploma from the USC.
Calum langdale
Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach
Calum started working with the Rhythm last season and is currently the Assistant and Goalkeeping Coach for Trevecca Nazarene University's Women's Soccer Team..
Calum played collegiately at Freed-Hardeman University from 2017-2022. After his college career, he played with North Alabama SC in the NPSL and USL2. He then went on to coach at Columbia State CC and was the Director of Goalkeeping at Clarksville SC. He is a member of the Dundee United Academy back in Scotland.
